Three Mice Interactive sweeps CSK Awards 2003

3Mice Interactive won 5 awards at the recently held Computer Society of Kenya Annual Awards function held at the Intercontinental on December 10. Among the awards were "Outstanding E-commerce Solutions Provider”, “Best Content Website of the Year”, “Multimedia Solutions Provider of the Year” and “Best Overall in Contributing to the Developing of the IT and the Youth”.

However, the highlight of the evening was the Chairman’s Award of the Year to Paul Kukubo, Managing Director, 3Mice. "We are delighted to have our work recognized by the Computer Society of Kenya," said Mr. Nimish Hadole, Director of Operations at 3Mice. "The awards are a testimony to our employees hardwork, innovation and dedication in meeting our clients expectations and on several occasions exceeding them”.

The awards sponsored by the Society recognize contribution and excellence in the field of ICT. Established in October 1998, 3Mice today is an established Web and Digital Solutions Company. 3Mice Interactive is the combination of a software development firm and an interactive advertising agency, giving it a real depth in the two critical disciplines – Interactive Media and Internet Technology.

The “Outstanding E-commerce Solutions Provider” recognizes the best firm in offering quality and cost-effective e-commerce solutions. BIDCO and 3Mice’s teamwork on www.Jikoni.com won the “Best Content Website”. Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd, has become the first company to launch a website that would bring the African community together through African recipes and Kitchen management. Jikoni.Com is the first organically growing community portal dedicated to the African Kitchen community and that is targeted at the housewives, single mothers, chefs, culinary students, caterers and Kenyan/African diaspora amongst others.

The Chairman’s Award to Mr. Kukubo was in recognition of his contribution to his continuous contribution to the Society and being a role model for the ICT industry. “We are very greatful to our clients for recognizing the value of the Internet and the emerging technologies and in trusting us to hold their hand in this process.” said Mr. Kukubo.

In the past two years 3Mice has delivered several multimedia projects. Some of the most interesting and challenging multimedia projects were for Kenya Airways and Coca-Cola.
